Yes, if you start a new business or restart the same business, you can register again on the Udyam portal. A new Udyam Registration Number will be issued. Your previous registration history is not affected.

If your investment exceeds ₹50 crore AND turnover exceeds ₹250 crore, your business is reclassified as a Large Enterprise. Your Udyam registration automatically becomes inactive and you no longer qualify for MSME benefits. You should cancel the registration to avoid compliance issues.
